New Port Jax Facility Update
In January 2018, Florachem announced that we were moving our operations to a newly-constructed facility near the Port of Jacksonville. The new facility will be Florachem’s global headquarters andcombines the current Jacksonville offices and Mission, TX manufacturing plant. This investment enables Florachem to increase production capacities, augment capabilities, and streamline logistics to better serve our global customers.
The new 30,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art, LEED-compliant building is located at 2664 Port Industrial Drive, Jacksonville, FL 32226, in the Port Jax Trade Center.
Florachem’s new facility will feature significant strategic advantages including:
- Upgraded production equipment, instrumentation and automation
- Centralized Manufacturing and Corporate functions
- Product Development Lab and Quality/Technical Services
- Located < 3 miles from Port of Jacksonville
- Located in Foreign Trade Zone #64
Construction is well underway and on schedule. We currently expect the new facility to be operational in June 2018. The Mission production plant will be decommissioned by July 2018.
The Florachem team is very excited about the transition to Port Jax. Preparations have been made to insure no service interruptions and all business operations will continue as normal.
