The First 30 Years…

1988 – Florachem Corp. is founded and begins trading citrus derivatives.

1990’s – Florachem expands into the distribution of both pine and citrus derivatives, adding warehousing to support domestic customers on a regional basis. Florachem diversifies its business portfolio into the flavor and fragrance ingredients, offering a wide variety of fine and aroma chemicals to the F&F market.

2000’s – The company further diversifies adding more pine chemistries including specialty rosin resins and dipentene streams. The company begins marketing bio-based dimer and trimer acids

2008 – The company acquires a citrus oil processing plant in Mission, Texas to focus on producing its own citrus derivatives. The company then expands its manufacturing base into citrus-based precision cleaning agents for industrial applications and adds specialty distributors around the globe.

2018 – Florachem expands sales and administrative offices, R&D, and manufacturing at their new “Port Jax” facility in Jacksonville, FL. This new hub increases production capacities, augments capabilities, and streamlines logistics to better serve its global customers.
